Nigerians remain divided over whether it's appropriate to tell an interviewer they smell nice after a recruiter shared her story

Nigerians on Twitter are divided over whether it is appropriate for a job seeker to compliment the interviewer on how he/she smells.

It all began after a recruiter told of how a prospective employee told her "you smell nice" and she warned him that that was rude.

The tweet quickly went viral and while some supported her and said it is inappropriate behavior, some said her reaction to a simple compliment was way overboard.
