Igbo traders protest as they are locked out of their shops in the Trade Fair Complex by the State Government (photos)

Traders arrived at the Trade Fair Complex today to find that they've been locked out of their shops by the state government and this led to a protest outside the business area.

Traders said they were not given any good reason why they were not allowed into their shops early on a Monday morning.

There were a number of speculations as to the reason why the complex was locked without prior notice, but nothing concrete.

As they waited outside the Trade Fair Complex, traders carried out a protest with placards as they asked to be allowed into their shops to conduct business for the day.
