Former Governor Adebayo Alao-Akala is no longer a member of the Action Democratic Party, ADP, anymore. He has rejoined the All Progressives Congress, APC, he left in October, 2018, after the governorship primaries that didn’t favour him.
Ex-governor of Oyo State, Otunba Adebayo Alao Akala has rejoined the All Progressives Congress, APC, after a meeting with Bola Tinubu, a chieftain of the party.
He visited Tinubu in company of his wife, Mrs Oluwakemi Alao-Akala; his son, Olamiju and the Director General of his campaign, Mr Wale Ohu, at Bourdillon, Tinubu Lagos Ikoyi home.
Akala rejoins party after dumping the Action Democratic Party, ADP. Recall that he left the All Progressives Congress, APC, in October, 2018, after he failed to grab the governorship ticket at the party’s primaries.
The ex-governor ruled Oyo State on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party but failed to secure a second term in 2011.
